Auditions open NOW for the following roles:

JOEY

Lead 

She/her, 18-25 to play 18, White

Raine’s girlfriend. Trailer park girl who can shoot a rifle as well as she can tie her shoes. Forward and practical, but not without her playful side. Does not mess around with aliens.

Role requires onstage intimacy (extended kissing), use of a prop fire arm, and prop cigarettes. 

Role requires singing and playing harmonica (prior experience not required).

ROSA

Supporting

She/her, 18-25 to play 18, Indigenous Latina 

One member of Raine’s crew. Captain of the basketball team and the only one of the dirtbags leaving for college. Motivated and funny, a good friend. 

Role requires use of a prop fire arm. 

Role requires singing and playing guitar (prior experience not required).

CHARLOTTE

Supporting 

She/her, 18-25 to play 16, any race 

An out-of-towner, chronically online teenage cousin. Well mannered but slightly off putting to most. Weird girl. 

Role requires light singing (prior experience not required).

MAMA

Supporting 

She/her, 40s-50s, Native American 

Raines mom, a grieving woman doing her best for her children. Intelligent and hard working.

Auditioners should prepare a self tape of sides for the role they are most interested in (included in the form) as well as filling out the rest of the audition sheet. We can't wait to see your brilliant work!
